It is important. I have discarded over done drawings, or poor starts. A long lost friend sent me a story I wrote 20 yrs ago, recently. I am retyping. It’s a good plot design but awkward. I forgot it existed.
With time we have the ability to self edit. I don’t seem to mind it, myself. It is like another person created it, in some cases. That other less experienced me.
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your readership. ✨❤️🔥
Wonderful testament to the creative process. It's not always linear. I, too, burst forth with ideas like butterflies and have a hard time catching them before they flit away. Some I can hold onto and begin to develop. Only occasionally is something completed and sent to rest. Good company, I guess! Thanks for this nicely researched piece!
We just watched Moonstruck again after many years. I noticed your profile. It takes a lifetime of Moons to begin to understand:
The fleeting cycle offers a primer to solidifying ideas. Two weeks waxing, two waning. Build up, hone down. Start again. 12 cycles per year Mother Nature gives us the kind of energies she uses to pace ourselves. Just a thought 🤗
Wonderful exploration of this truth. I am continually returning and re evolving. I am excited to allow for brand new potential this year ✨️

Such a lovely point. I saw the moon 2 nights ago in conjunction with Venus - “my” star. It blew me away!!!
